Here's some information on the cameras we own and use in our work.
Phase One XF IQ3 50MP
The crown jewel and the newest addition to our camera lineup, the Phase One XF camera is a Medium Format workhorse with a plethora of features that bring efficiency to your workflow.
The Hasselblad H6D serves its purpose as a high-resolution stills camera for commercial work in fashion, editorial, beauty, and product photography.
Canon 1DX Mark II
The flagship Canon 1DX Mark II is a workhorse in any environment. 20 Megapixels is enough for most printing purposes, and its rugged construction ensures reliability on location. 14FPS and 4K/60 video is just the icing on the cake.
With its 50 megapixel sensor, the 5DSR is the king of resolution in the 35mm sensor category. We think the 1DX Mark II and 5DSR pairing is the ultimate in versatility, allowing us to shoot fast action and 4K video with the 1D body, and pulling out the 5DSR when resolution and exceptional detail is necessary.
When we need a little more resolution, the Nikon D810 is our choice. The exceptional 36 Megapixel Sony sensor with class-leading dynamic range and no AA filter means the ultimate in resolution and detail.
The Fuji X-T3 is a beast of a camera, offering up flagship DSLR specs like 11fps, 425(!) Phase-Detect AF points covering 100% (!!!) of the frame, 4K/60p, and much, much more. This is easily the ultimate do-everything camera paired with a few small primes, or a couple versatile zooms, and you have a kit that can go anywhere and do almost anything you’d need in a small and lightweight package.
Fujifilm X-Pro 2
The Fuji X-Pro 2 is our choice for traveling light. The new X-Trans III sensor increases resolution over the previous generation, and in-camera JPEG processing produces amazing colors, depth and detail that's extremely difficult to reproduce, even when processing Fuji's own RAWs. There's a reason the term "Fuji Colors" exists.
The go-everywhere camera. The 23mm offers a 35mm equivalent field of view, which is perfect for street photography and environmental portraiture. The camera has built-in cropping to simulate 50mm and 75mm fields of view (albeit at hte expense of resolution). It can also be combined with wide and tele teleconverters to get the full 24MP resolution. The leaf shutter lens also means it can sync at any shutter speed, as well as a built in physical 3-stop ND filter — both of which are incredibly useful.
