If you've followed us for some time (or own Profoto OCF lights and a 1DX Mark II), you know how much we've complained about the incompatibility with our 1DX Mark II and Profoto OCF Flashes (B1s and B2's).
Well, yesterday Profoto finally released an updated firmware (Version B8) for the TTL-C Air Remote for Canon cameras. To check the current firmware version of your Profoto Air Remote TTL-C follow Profoto's instructions below:
Press ON to activate the remote, then press and hold the MODE button (upper right) for 10 seconds. When “Hello” is shown in the remote display, release finger from button and the firmware version will be displayed.
The release notes for TTL-C Firmware B8 follow:
- Bugfixes resolving TTL issues for Canon EOS models:
- EOS 1D X MK II
- EOS 80
- The update has also passed quick tests with new Canon 5D MK IV. These release notes will be complemented when full testing has been completed.
